Jeremy is the third-generation owner of Max Lanning Insurance Agency. The agency is Jeremy’s legacy and it is one that he is passionate about caring for and growing. Jeremy’s goal is to provide the state of North Carolina with the property/casualty coverage that they need, and the friendly knowledgeable service that the community has come to know. Jeremy is honest and dependable. He strives to treat each customer like an extended member of the family. Following his service in the U.S. Army and the birth of his children, Jeremy began the process of getting his own insurance license. He received his license in 2020, and began immersing himself in the business.

In 2022 Jeremy assumed ownership of the agency. Since then, he has continued to work hard to care for insurance needs of the community. He is also passionate about reaching out to those beyond the immediate community to let them know that we are happy to help with their insurance needs as well. 

Jeremy currently resides in his native town of Denton with his wife, four children, two dogs, four ferrets, and a cat. In his free time Jeremy enjoys spending time with his family, wood working, playing guitar, and sitting behind the wheel of his Porsche.

Angela has been an agent with Max Lanning Insurance Agency for 2 years. Following her marriage to Jeremy, she got her insurance license and joined the agency to assist him in passionately serving the community and surrounding areas. While she did not grow up in the insurance world, she does have a back ground in customer service and holds the same values that Max built the agency on. 

She has found her niche working with commercial policies, and is happy to help businesses meet their insurance needs while still being able to treat them like family. Angela and Jeremy enjoy their home in Denton with their children and collection of animals. In her spare time, she likes spend time with her family, read, throw axes, and spend time outdoors with her animals.

Cheryl, or Cherri, was the second-generation owner of Lanning Insurance. Cherri has been an agent for more than 45 years. She grew up learning from her dad, Max, how to run the business. Cherri agrees with the values that Max built his business on. She practices them both professionally and personally. Cherri’s professional knowledge of property and casualty insurance is extensive, and is surpassed only by her passion for helping people. In 2018 Cherri chose to change the name of the agency from Lanning Insurance Agency to Max Lanning Insurance Agency in loving memory of her father and Jeremy’s grandfather, Max.

Cherri is enjoying working half days with every Friday off. In her free time, she enjoys spending time out side on her property, and visiting friends. She also enjoys spending time with her animals, which include three dogs, two goats, and some chickens. 

Tim is Max Lanning Insurance Agency’s newest agent. Tim joined our family in 2023. He has a background of 10 years in insurance. After spending several years in pest control Tim decided to get back into insurance. The insurance community and especially Max Lanning Insurance welcomes him back!  Tim is working through the office in Denton but is primarily focused on serving his local areas of Winston Salem and Clemmons.

During his free time, Tim enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, golfing, hunting and fishing,  as well as socializing with his family.

We look forward to introducing the fourth-generation owner of Max Lanning Insurance Agency in the next 10-15 years. At the moment, he is only eight and is taking this time to focus on his studies. He is currently excelling in school. He is a grade ahead of his peers, and looking forward to stepping into his role as the fourth-generation owner of the agency. 

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, soccer, basketball, and video games. 

We Care Because You Matter. While those words were chosen recently, Max Lanning Insurance Agency has been living them for 73 years, and will continue to live them for many more years to come.
